I am trying to install build 5472 from MSDN. I know this isn't the right newsgroup, but I was hoping someone else might have seen this before.
I am running VMWare 5.5. I start the VM with the iso attached as the CD drive. I've done 3 previous Vista installs this way with no issues, but on this one, after I press a key to boot from DVD, it says Windows is Copying Files, and the progress bar travels to the end and nothing happens after that. VMWare shows activity on the CD drive and periodically on the hard drive, but nothing else happens. I let it sit overnight.
I've downloaded the ISO twice from MSDN and once from another source. Same thing on all 3.
Anyone seen this before?
Thanks,
Dave H.

Stuck on Windows is Copying Files
This is a known issue where 5472 does not work under VMWare Workstation 5.5. The VMWare forums report that this build is working under VMWare Server 1.0.
