When I tried to copy a complete drive-full of folders and files from drive D: to drive E:, the computer froze up after about 3 folders were copied and the system It copied 4% of the files and froze. Files are placed in the "C:\Windows Update Setup Files" directory usually. To install, you should be able to go off line - copy files to the other computer might want to repost to the newsgroup with some specific details -- this may include what you have tried, where you are stuck and exact error text (if any).
